I'm about to start a degree in Robotics. I studied at Art College as a young man. I still make pictures in my spare time mostly in watercolour and on my computers. I have worked in a variety of roles in manufacturing for about 12 years - assembly, semi-skilled sheet-metalwork and predominantly metal machining. I'm a good forklift driver although unfortunately unqualified.
I have good computer skills. I'm familiar with windows up to Vista, Mac OS X and Linux. I built my own desktop PC. I have used Microsoft Office at work, but use Open Office at home. I am self-taught but proficient in Autocad. I know a little HTML, Javascript and Java.
I like to read about the arts, history and philosophy, as well as fiction. I love music and film. I worked in the Czech Republic for a year, and know a little of the language. I'm a member of Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Mensa.
I enjoy photography.
I am currently working part-time as a Betterware distributor.
