About
I am a direct entry second year student at the University of Worcester studying Digital Film Production. I came onto the course after completing a 2 year HND in Film Production, in the second year of which I was awarded the outstanding achievement for higher education award.

I enjoy watching and making films. When I'm not at University I like to listen/play/record music. I am a drummer but also play guitar and piano. I like to travel and experiences new places and cultures. In my first semester at the University I took a German language module and achieved an A grade for the course. Unfortunately due to module clashes I was unable to continue but have continued to learn at home. To keep fit and active I play football, badminton and swim. I also go to the gym as often as my timetable allows.

I have a lot of time for my friends and family and am fortunate to have a large family and a big group of close friends. My main interest outside of those already mentioned would be history and in-particular the first and second World Wars. Books, films, T.V dramas and documentaries on the subject always fascinate me and it's something I am always incorporating into scripts and films. My travels abroad have frequently been to places of historical interest relating to the period. I am currently involved with a couple of big feature projects outside of University, 2 of which are definitely going into production this year, the other one is still in pre-production closing distribution deals. I will be working in a production assistant role for one and as a 1st AD for the other.

My previous job was at Odeon in Worcester. As a film production student, the perks of the job were great, being able to see films for free was always a great help in expanding my knowledge of my craft and furthering my interest in films in general. Unfortunately had to leave due to deadlines clashing with a key release period.

My qualifications so far after G.C.S.E and A level is a Higher National Diploma in Film Production and an Outstanding Achievement in Higher Education Award.
I am currently on my 2nd year studying for a B.A in Digital Film Production.
I am proficient with Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop and have access to the complete Adobe Package. I have used these to edit films, design posters and graphics within films. I compose and co compose music for my films. I record it mostly in live studio but occasionally do sequencing in programs such as Logic Pro or Cubase. I am proficient with PC programs and Operating Systems but am increasing my knowledge base on MACs everyday as my University department uses them exclusively.

I attended a weekly acting workshop from the age of 13-16 and also took Drama and theatre at G.C.S.E and A-level. I recently acted, in German, in one of my own films and on the back of that have been offered a small role in an upcoming war feature called 'Grace and Danger'

Within Film Making my passion lies with writing and producing. For several films I have been involved with I have organised auditions, raised funds, secured services of make up artists, sound recordists, camera and lighting department assistants. As unit production manager on the recent feature film pilot 'Barbarians at the Gate', I planned and execute the 5 days of shooting which gave me invaluable experience in working with a large group of people who are working with masses of equipment in a varied number of locations.

I am a drummer in several Bands and have been recording Albums, EP's and songs since I was 15. I enjoy going to local jam nights and have a lot of musical friends with a lot of different musical tastes and this enables us to jam and write music in a variety of genres.
