I am a hard working and enthusiastic individual. I have been entrusted with responsibilities on numerous occasions, and so consider myself to be a reliable asset within a company. I also believe myself to be a friendly and outgoing person, and as such, enjoy working as a member of a team.
I have just completed a ‘gap year’ between leaving High School and attending University, in which I was very fortunate to be able to travel to several different countries, including South Africa, Australia and the USA. Whilst in South Africa I was enrolled on a Volunteer and Conservation Project on a game reserve. This was a highly rewarding experience, which allowed me to work with people from a different culture and pushed me to work outside of my comfort zone. It also allowed me to enhance many skills such as communication and team work.
Interests: Sport: Outside of work I am a keen sportswoman, and was involved in several extra curricular clubs at school and college such as Tennis, Netball and Rounders. I also enjoy horse-riding and skiing. Leisure: I enjoy reading, film and theatre, and have been heavily involved through the years in various productions such as ‘Bugsy Malone’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Oliver’ at school and company level. More recently, I have been involved in the highly successful production of ‘Copacobana’ for Hild Bede Theatre in Durham, and also performed in Durham Drama Festival 2011. Socialising with friends and family also forms a large part of my free time.
