My name is Kate Cumming, I am 21 and currently in my second year studying English. I am a sociable, enthusiastic and hard working person with an eye for detail, and, consequently have always enjoyed organising (myself and others!). I have taken two gap years previous to starting university, during which I worked in a number of different roles and environments that ranged from catering and administration, to artist liaison and event management. I also did a number of internships, mainly in Publishing (editorial, publicity) and Marketing. These were invaluable in that they gave me experience, but also allowed me to realise how I could combine my passion for Literature with my ability to plan. I love reading and writing, but have always had a passion for the theatre and film as well as live music. Because of this I have worked in stage management and stage production many times, and find this fun and engaging.
