Technology has always been a passion and I have around 4 years’ experience as both a sound and lighting designer and technician for various theatrical performances and small to large live music events.

Events that I have engineered for vary from duets to a full stage setup with band, orchestra, choir and various AV sources. I'm comfortable with analogue desks and also have a growing knowledge of digital boards, with experience with Yamaha's 01v and LS9.

Experience includes Front of House sound and monitor Engineer, Sound & Lighting design, stage technician, Sound & Effects Compositor/Designer, Small scale music producing and AV Technician.

Equipment knowledge covers analogue sound desks, full system setup, most standard outboard processing, microphone selection and placement, analogue and digital programmable lighting boards for non-intelligent fixtures.

Recently my problem solving skills were put through their paces by the failing of a sound board, 10 minutes before the beginning of a contemporary wedding service - through various solutions and workarounds, after the service I received comments that it was sounding good, despite the failure.

Working in this sector requires great cooperation, and I believe I practice this skill effectively. I'm always keen to expand my knowledge and gain experience in new environments and with new equipment.
