I was brought up in Bristol, and I graduated last July from the University of Exeter receiving a 2:1, having transferred after two years as a tennis scholar at the University of Houston. I am interested in the sports, events and management industries, have gained valuable work experience and volunteer work. In order to broaden my knowledge and understanding of the sector, I decided to undertake a postgraduate MSc in Management which I am currently studying at the University of Manchester in the Business School.

My past experience includes helping coordinate major events such as assisting the events team at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, as well as voluntary work for the Komen Organisation’s Race for the Cure in America and working on the IBM data entry team at the Wimbledon Championships every year. For the past two years I have taken a position working for the BBC Graphics team during the Wimbledon Championships. Other work experience includes that of annual assistant referee for two major Bristol tennis tournaments along with receptionist and bar work for my local sports club.

I have a well rounded skill base on which to draw and build as a team worker, problem solver and effective communicator. I have a wide range of interests from sports and the outdoors to administration and management, and am personable, efficient and focussed. I also have a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, and have always been described as a perfectionist from my GCSE art to my Masters assignments. I am 23 years old and a UK citizen.
