I am a friendly, hard working person, with a broad range of work experience. In the past I have worked in roles from administration to running a children's holiday club, as well work in retail sales. In addition, I currently work voluntarily as a Science, Technology and Engineering Ambassador, which involves promoting science at public engagement events.
I graduated from my undergraduate degree in Food Science with a 1st class classification. As part of my degree, I worked for one year for Tesco in the technology sector at their head office. I am now studying for a PhD in the area of food and nutritional science, and from my PhD I have gained experience running a human intervention study.
Outside of my studies my two main passions are travel and music. I love to see new and exciting places and experience difference cultures whether it be in the UK or further afield. With regards to music, I like a wide range of genres and really enjoy attending live performances.
