I have participated in many MUN conferences. During these conferences, I learned how to speak in public and how to bring other delegates round to my opinion. At the MUNs I met many people from around the world, thanks to which I was able to understand better traditions and customs characteristic of other cultures. It broaden my political and historical knowledge. I have been developing the art of speaking skills since middle school, where I won Warsaw Competition in Rhetoric Skills, later I became a member of the school debate team, which took part in the Oxford debates. My active participation contributed to the fact that in 2009/2010, we took first place in the Warsaw Debating League.
It is a wonderful experience to convince people using words as well as using your pen. Therefore, I wrote several columns for the school newspaper. I was also the finalist of the National Competition of Polish Language.
I am constantly trying to take up new challenges. I am a member of a youth organisation "Poland of the Youth" which organized E-votings in the general elections in 2009 as a kind of experiment. With determination and faith in myself, I managed to get a voluntary practice in the largest Polish news channel:TVN-24. During this training I got to know how TV works, I assisted in the making live programmes and I had a chance to meet outstanding people from the world of politics. Every meeting, was a wealth of experience and valuable advice.
My classmates knew that they could always rely on me, so in three following years I was unanimously elected to maintain the position of the class president what made me to cooperate both with students and teachers. I easily found myself in the role of the organizer of balls, school festivals, and concerts. Event organization taught me responsibility and reliability. I also learned how important team work, understanding of other people's views and tolerance are. Knowing that the success of a project depends on me, I always put all my heart into it.
I also derive an unusual satisfaction from the opportunity to help other people: I conduct auctions and fundrising. I give free English lessons to children from families with financial problems. I also find time for myself: I am interested in sport(I play tennis and windsurfing),music(I play the flute)and especially in dancing (participating and winning same dance-contests).
