About
I believe that success comes from trying and working to the best of my ability. I always put maximum effort into everything I do and strive to enhance my abilities through grasping every opportunity that comes my way. I can work productively in a team, as I thoroughly enjoy working with people, but I am capable of working independently. I have the confidence to complete tasks efficiently and interact with members of the public. In addition to this, I believe I have the capability to follow instructions and fulfil any requirements that are asked of me.

In June of Year Ten I completed a week’s Work Experience at the Cats Protection Adoption Centre in Ashbourne.

I volunteer weekly at the local tennis club, helping coach the younger children who are ambitious about learning to play tennis. Also, I work voluntarily in a Primary School in my holidays. My volunteer work with children is developing through a Change4Life Programme, which I am yet to start but have received specific training for. This will involve me supporting children in an after school activity club.

I have gained retail experience through volunteering in a local Sue Ryder Charity Shop in my spare time. Therefore, I can confidently use a till and have gained further expertise with the general public.

My interests extend to dancing, playing badminton, swimming, body boarding, skiing and playing the piano and keyboard. Recently I also joined the local gym, because I like to keep fit and healthy, as I think it is important to have a healthy lifestyle.

During the last two summers I have participated in a foreign exchange, spending between ten and fourteen days in Spain with a Spanish family. This incredible opportunity improved my confidence in speaking and understanding the Spanish language and culture.
