I am coming towards the end of my third year at Manchester Metropolitan University. I study Marketing Management and am currently carrying out a placement at a marketing firm in Wrexham, North Wales. The course has enabled me to learn more about a field that I have always held a great interest in and now this year’s placement has allowed me to put everything I have learnt into practice. Due to the fact it’s a smaller company I have been able to work closely with clients and do take on a lot more responsibility first hand than I would in a larger company. I have taken on numerous job roles but primarily I manage PR and the copy writing for our clients. I always enjoy a challenge which is one of the reasons I have excelled at writing pieces for various companies, I will try my hand at anything but always take pride in every piece of work I do. I am ambitious and serious about achieving a career in marketing, specifically within the communications industry.
