I am currently in my second year of a BA in Russian and Spanish at University College London. I started Russian from scratch in September 2006, but my Spanish is near native, and I am also fluent in French, having spoken it all my life. I have played the double bass since I was 11, and have been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, UCOpera, University of London Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music, and am currently the bassist for Consonance Productions ( [log in for details] ). I have also done session work for many other ensembles. I received the Canterbury Arts Council's Young Person's Award in 2006. I worked at WHSmith in the Books department for over a year, and am currently working as a Fundraising Caller for UCL.
